Who would have thunk?
I have a passion for mushrooms. Not only eating them, but watching them emerge. It’s always been a mystery. Where do they come from? One day nothing… and the next day, these amazing growing things popping out of the grass, fallen logs, trees. How does it happen?
I decided I had to figure out just how to grow these mysterious mushrooms indoors, in controlled conditions. I’m the kind of guy that likes to do it all. From multiplying spores (liquid culture) to growing out mycelium, to creating grow bags, to building a grow room, to producing mushrooms.
It’s a delicate process. It takes the right amount of air flow, humidity and light for the magic to occur. I’m happy and proud to share that after lots of time and effort, I am consistently producing high quality gourmet mushrooms!
I’m involved from start to finish, which makes it super satisfying. Because when everything is said and done, I still can’t believe that it’s possible to be a partner in growing these amazing, mysterious and delicious parts of Creation.
